The Amarillo City Council will hold a Special Meeting Tuesday regarding the budget and tax rate for fiscal year 2026/2027. That meeting will begin at 3 p.m. in council chambers of City Hall, room 3400.
Public comment will be heard before the council moves into the non consent agenda. The agenda includes public hearings on the budget and tax rate, and final readings and ordinance consideration following each.
